Summary: LogiBase collects only what's needed to run your logistics business. We never sell your data, never show ads, and give you full control over your information. KYC documents are used only for business verification.
We collect information you provide when registering: company name, contact details, CAC documents (for KYC), and payment information. We also automatically collect usage data, IP addresses, and device information to improve our services and detect fraud.
We use your information to: provide and improve the LogiBase platform; process orders and payments; verify your business through KYC; send transactional notifications via SMS and email; comply with Nigerian legal obligations including FIRS and CAC requirements; and prevent fraud and abuse.
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with: payment processors (Paystack) to complete transactions; SMS and WhatsApp providers (Termii) to send notifications; cloud infrastructure providers (Supabase, Render) under data processing agreements; and Nigerian regulatory authorities when required by law.
Your data is stored on servers in the European Union via Supabase, with encrypted backups. All data is encrypted at rest and in transit using industry-standard AES-256 and TLS 1.3. KYC documents are stored in private, access-controlled storage and are never publicly accessible.
CAC certificates, director IDs, and other KYC documents are used solely for business verification. They are reviewed by LogiBase staff and stored securely. Documents are deleted within 30 days of account closure.
Order data (sender/recipient names, phone numbers, addresses) is considered your business data. You remain the data controller for your customers' information. We process it only to deliver the platform's services.
Under Nigerian law and international best practices, you have the right to: access your personal data; correct inaccurate data; delete your account and associated data; export your order data; and opt out of marketing communications. Email privacy@logibase.ng to exercise these rights.
We use essential cookies for authentication and session management. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. You can clear cookies at any time through your browser settings.
We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes via email and in-app notification. Continued use of the platform after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
